We can’t say enough great things about Baking Mama! It has that warm, welcoming mom-and-pop feel where you can tell everything is made with care and love. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they make every visit feel like you’re stopping by a neighborhood favorite. The ube crinkle cookies are absolutely addictive—soft, chewy, and packed with just the right amount of ube flavor. And the banana pudding? Easily one of the best we’ve had: creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. If you’re in Hoboken (and soon to be in Jersey City) and looking for amazing homemade treats from genuinely kind people, Baking Mama is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back (again and again).

Baking Mama has phenomenal cookies. On this trip I ordered the Crinkle Cookie, Gingerbread spiced cookie, chocolate chip cookie, and Ube cookie. All of the cookies were unique from one another but one thing they had was consistency of the half baked inside. If I had to highlight two of the cookies that I really enjoyed, it would be the chocolate chip cookie and gingerbread spice cookie. The chocolate chip that is a classic cookie but it was done right with a sprinkle of sea salt, half baked, a slight crunch on the outside with a chewy inside. That's the kind of cookie that I like. The gingerbread spiced cookie, had sugar on the outside and it tasted exactly like a gingerbread but even better. The only thing that was missing was a latte or tea. They offer a wide selection of cookies and next time when I'm in the area, I have to get the cinnamon roll which I've heard good things about.

The perfect cookies, chewiness 10/10, flavors 10/10, sweetess 10/10. Highly highly recommend. The staff is excellent, they were very nice and patient explaining all the different types of cookies. I decided to get the ube, the banana pudding, and the cinnamon cookie. They were all fantastic. I will definitely be making another stop here when I'm back in the area.

I love this place! The cookies are amazing and so delicious, consistently the best experience I look forward to. Love coming to place, would eat here everyday if I lived closer!

Such a cute bakery. A mom and pop business. And " mama " was working there. A picture of her as a little girl is on the wall. They were so friendly. Their cookies are better than great. So soft and delicious. I wish I had three stomachs in order to try everything. Definitely recommend. And they own the coffee shop down the street as well. This shop is tiny and authentic.
